This past weekend Southeastern Rehabilitation Medicine's 
own Dr. Wayne Nguyen provided medical care for the Eco Agro Trails, a local race in Citra, Florida. The Eco Agro Trails held its inaugural 1-mile Guided Farm Tour, Trail 5k, and Trail Half Marathon on April 6 at Crones' Cradle Conserve. Crones' Cradle Conserve is an ecological preserve, retreat center, and organic farm. All proceeds from the race will benefit a local water conservation effort in Marion County and surrounding areas.

The FSPM&R's organization strives to serve Florida physiatrists, their patients, and the public by enhancing health and function through education, research, community and political involvement in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation.

of female atheletes makes up Gainesville first competitive flat track Roller Derby team. The atheletes are made up from every walk of life and skate for hours each week perfecting their sport.

The atheletes are made up from every walk of life and skate for hours each week perfecting their sport.Roller Derby is an exciting sport which combines athleticism and fun into a unique skating experience. However, just as with any sport, injuries can occur. Southeastern Rehabilitation Medicine physician, Wayne Nguyen, MD is the team physician. As a team doctor his job is to evaluate the players when they take a hard spill on the course, or get tangled up with the competition. He makes sure the players are skating safely so they can stay in the game and bring home a win for the home team.
