Insuranced & Payments
If you have questions about a bill or statement you received, would like to make a payment or need to speak with an Accounts Receiveable counselor to discuss your balance, please contact our AR Department at (352) 373-6338.  They are available to assist you Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Payment Types Accepted
SIMED accepts many types of payments for our services. Cash, check, credit card and insurance are the most common forms of payment used.



Medical/Automobile or Other Insurances
Please be sure to provide your most current insurance information to your Clinic Assistant or other member of our staff when you schedule your appointment. This will allow us time to contact your insurance company and request authorizations, if necessary and to verify your insurance coverage. Should there be any issues with your coverage we will gladly reschedule your appointment until they have been resolved.

If you have medical or auto insurance and have submitted the information to your physician's office, we will gladly bill your insurance company for you. However, any deductibles, copayments or portions of your treatment not covered by your insurance are your responsibility.

Appointment Cancellation Policy
24-hours notice is required if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment
You will be asked to provide a credit card to reserve your new patient appointment.  

If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please call at least 24-hours in advance and we will gladly accommodate your schedule.  

If 24-hour notice is not provided, a $50 cancellation fee will be charged to your credit card.

This policy is in place to ensure that all our patients can get timely appointments with their doctors.
